Founded in 2024, Heads Up Barber Academics of NC is a registered 501 (c) (3) non profit organization. 

Heads Up Barber Academics of NC

supports providing vocational training to many students in the local community. We are dedicated to offering an affordable and accessible barber education to individuals from underserved populations, including, high school students.

 prepares students for:

  • State licensure
  • Small business ownership
  • Community leadership
  • Employment placement

aims to shape the next generation of skilled, confident, community-minded leaders through professional training, mentorship, and service. 

Our vision is to increase awareness of the sustainability of a career in barbering, implement technology into the curriculum and develop community outreach initiatives that provide scholarships and workforce pathways for youth and underserved populations.
