The Cuts & Character Youth Leadership Program is a 6-week summer intensive for high school students aged 15–17. Rooted in the tradition of the barbershop as a community pillar, the program delivers foundational barbering skills, life skill development, and meaningful community service, equipping youth for careers, entrepreneurship, and leadership. The Cuts & Character Youth Leadership Summer Program was built on that belief, and it only works because people like you make it possible.
For six weeks, high school students ages 15–17 walk through our doors with curiosity and leave with a skill, a plan, and a sense of purpose. They learn the art of barbering from a 20-year industry professional. They build life skills alongside a counselor who has spent over two decades walking with youth and their families. They give back to the community that raised them.
